It was wonderful to be invited to speak at the Auroville Litfest 2025. In what proved to be an engrossing conversation, on metaphysics, science and civilization, and a fascinating engagement, subsequently, with eminent members of the audience as well as the young minds in attendance, it was a rather meaningful exercise.

The literary festival featured luminaries such as Dr. Sridhar Vembu, Prof. Sampandananda Mishra, Dr. Anupama Kundoo, M. Jean-Paul Sermadiras, Dr. Hindol Sengupta, Shri Chandrachur Ghose and Shri Ritendra Sharma. My new book ‘The Logic of Ish’ was launched by Dr. Jayanti Ravi (Secretary, Auroville Foundation), Dr. Sharat Chauhan (Chief Secretary, Union Territory of Puducherry), Shri Aravindan Neelakandan and Prof. Goutam Ghosal.

Auroville is a beautiful experiment in human unity, where the future is not imagined, but lived. It stands as a reminder that civilizations can be built on consciousness, not conquest. I hope that the spirituo-social power and vision of Auroville can guide humanity in its pursuit of long-lasting balance and peace.
